Our vegetable garden
This is our vegetable garden. There are photos from last June, when all our vegetables had grown and plants were big. There are also photos from the begining of October, when all plants starded to grow.
As you can see, we have many tipes of vegetables and aromatic plants. We have aubergines, letuce, tomatoes, green and red peppers, beans, garlics, camomile tea, rosemary, thyme and Bach flowers.
I hope you like our garden!!

Doing experiments.
In 6th grade of Primary school we've been doing experiments. We have mixed some ingredients and other substances with water: sugar, pepper, ink, oil, mud, etc. and we have realized how easy is to dirty water in our houses and also in big industries.
We need to know that water is a valuable good and we have to take care of it, not wasting it or dirting it!!
Doing these experiments children have realized that there are substances that can be dissolved and seems not to contaminate water, other that color the water and others that keep floating such as oil. All of them have learned that they can't throw liquids or substances in water.

Learning about saving food and water
We have been leanrning about how much food there is in water production. Water is essential for food to grow and to give to the animals that give us food. It has really made us think about the amount of food that is thrown away each day and therefore the amount of water that is wasted. The children in year 6 made some animations to help spread the message. We hope you enjoy reading them.
